  • “ Was not what I expected. Was more of a selling of a product (an education in Real Estate Investing) just like a Carlton Sheets infomercial, just different names. Lots of people saying how great they did with what they learned. Most of the organizers were not Real Estate Agents or Brokers. Most if not all were more marketing types for the program. One said they stay away from Brokers&Agents. The attendees were mostly out of work people, just like me, looking for info, not a sales pitch for what was looking like a marketing group. Of those that were in attendance, I ran into 1 real estate broker who walked out the same time as I and a real estate appraiser who also those this was to be more of a networking meetup group. Got home and did a search on what was being sold and found Nouveau Riche University (NRU). I should have done my homework like normally do, but the prior info/description for the meetup was vague. Others should look before leaping, and expect a sales pitch ”
