NorthStar Realty Group was formed by Mark Mullins and Sheryl Russell under the values of Keller Williams Realty. Our priorities are God, family and then business. We believe in honest and ethical practices and are both members of the National Association of Realtors. In addition, we have each obtained our Associate Broker designations.

While sitting out on our patio one eveing we were talking about how we could do something special. We wanted to do something that used our talents and was exciting. With the market conditions as they were and all the bad national press our local market was receiving it was a quick determination. Yes, nationally the real estate market had taken a substantial down turn. Locallly, however, Seattle was in the top three in the nation and still is. With the high education level of it's population and the expected increase in growth it is a fantastic market to invest in. Really it boils down to the economics of supply and demand. We are seeing a large inventory forcing sellers to be very competitive. On top of that we have zero down interest only loans that were secured in the last few years that are adjusting. There are a tremendous amount of short sales and pre-foreclosures on the market to add to the inventory. On top of that we have an increasing rental market. As housing becomes less affordable in the area due to the mortgage crunch, rental rates increase and the inventory decreasing thus increasing demand. It is an investors market!
