About the Speaker

After earning a BA in Economics and a minor in Business Management at Brigham Young University, Timothy Smith landed in the commercial real estate business as an intern with Marcus and Millichap. He was then recruited to a private real estate investment company where he acquired and managed commercial, investment and residential properties.

In 2002, Tim branched off, forming his own real estate investment company for which he develops software solutions for finding and evaluating real estate. Tim has been pushing innovation in brokerage services and real estate technology now for over 7 years and was nominated for an Inman Innovator Award from San Francisco-based Inman News.

Tim has enjoyed providing educational training for DFW real estate investors, with highlights to include Robert Kiyasoki's Rich Dad seminars, and KRLD's Managing Your Money series. In his spare time, Tim plays on an indoor soccer league, runs long-distances, volunteers as a financial clerk at his church, wrestles his four young children to the floor and earns kuddos from his wife by helping around the house.
