About the San Francisco Real Estate Investment Group:
The San Francisco Real Estate Investment Group meets once per month to provide networking and educational opportunities for real estate investors and real estate professionals. Founded in 2007 by Leonard Spoto and Oron Maher, the group has grown to over 300 members. Events hosted by the group in the past have included 1031 Exchange training, foreclosure and shortsale opportunities, Commercial TIC investments, and much more.

Thanks to the generous support of Oron Maher, Leonard Spoto and North American Title, there is no fee to attend the monthly meetings, and light refreshments are usually provided.

About Oron Maher:
Mr. Maher has been licensed since 1999 and specializes in both commercial and residential real estate. He is very proud to be with Pacific Union whom he considers to be a world-class real estate brokerage. Mr. Maher has a keen understanding of many issues involved in purchasing and selling real estate in San Francisco including rent control issues, tenants rights issues, issues stemming from the purchase of older buildings, tenancy in common issues, condominium conversion issues and issues relating to title. He is also an expert on 1031 exchanges and finds pleasure is helping his clients exchange up in property without having to pay capital gains taxes. Mr. Maher, in conjunction with Pacific Union, is able to provide his clients with highest-end marketing in San Francisco. His years of experience in real estate and his all around aggressive approach to negotiation has benefited sellers by bringing them the highest possible price and has benefited buyers by bringing them the right property at a good value. Mr. Maher is currently a part-time student at San Francisco Law School and would like to specialize in real estate law.
