The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Decatur-DeKalb Chapter, Inc. will hold its Fifth Annual Pink and Black Affair on Saturday November 7, 2009 from 7:00 pm – 12:00 am the Holiday Inn Conference Center Decatur. You can pay for tickets via paypal or contact me directly at 404-216-2296

THIS ISSUE AFFECTS EVERYONE AS WE ALL HAVE WOMEN IN OUR LIVES and protecting every women from Breast cancer is our goal. Come out and join us in celebrating life, joy, and perseverance! There will be PLENTY of networking, a silent auction, wonderful food and a great opportunity support members of our community.

The annual Pink and Black Affair will be held at the Holiday Inn Conference Center located at 130 Clairemont Avenue Decatur, Georgia. The color pink is the national symbol of breast cancer awareness. The color black symbolizes women of color standing together in the fight against breast cancer. The 100 Black Women Coalition is working to educate our community regarding the importance of early detection, healthy lifestyle choices, adequate health care and treatment. We are advocates of increasing breast cancer research funding and health care reform consistent with the goal of eradicating breast cancer. It’s about protecting our loved ones and remembering those for whom the cures did not come soon enough.

During this evening of celebration, we plan to honor ten DeKalb County residents who have fought Breast Cancer personally and used the experience to help others while overcoming their own crisis.

We have created a sponsorship opportunity that will provide you with tremendous corporate recognition, networking opportunities and exposure among the DeKalb County Community. Please contact me for details on how you can become a sponsor or if you would like to donate items for the silent auction.
